Pelesia A. Fields, MA, M.Ed, CCC/SLP
Pelesia received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in speech language pathology from Lehman College of City University of New York. Pelesia holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American-Speech-Language Hearing Association. She is also licensed by the Georgia State Board of Examiners. Pelesia holds a post master’s advanced graduate certificate in educational leadership from Stony Brook University (New York). She began her career as a speech language pathologist over 20 years ago. She has worked in various settings including public schools, private clinics, and home health. Pelesia also has experience working with the geriatric population. These experiences have given her vast knowledge of language development and use across the communication continuum. The majority of her experience is with school aged children and from birth to age 3 populations. Pelesia is PROMPT and Orto-Gillingham trained.
